    COLUMBUS GROVE – Patricia M. Donaldson, 93, of Columbus Grove died 10:45 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at The Meadows of Kalida.  She was born March 17, 1925 in Columbus Grove to the late Cornelius and Cecilia (Goecke) Blankemeyer.  On April 19, 1944 she married James W. Donaldson, who preceded her in death on July 31, 2006.

    She is also survived by 5 children:  Harry (Rita) Donaldson of Columbus Grove, Jane Donaldson Darbyshire of Ozark, AL, Gregory (Janet) Donaldson of Centerville, Susan (Terrence) Maas of Ottawa, and Joseph (Ruth) Donaldson of Columbus Grove; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers:  Norman (Kathy) Blankemeyer of Perrysburg and James (Carolyn) Blankemeyer of Tennessee; and 3 sisters-in-law:  Dolly Blankemeyer of Columbus Grove, Judy Blankemeyer of Columbus Grove, and Judy Blankemeyer of Kalida.

    Patricia was preceded in death by 4 brothers:  William (Juanita) Blankemeyer, Daniel Blankemeyer, Joseph Blankemeyer, and Robert Blankemeyer; and a sister:  Ann Blankemeyer.

    Patricia was a homemaker.  She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Columbus Grove and a member of its C. L. of C.  She loved playing cards and visiting her grandchildren.  Patricia also enjoyed socializing with her family and friends and shopping.

   Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father David L. Ritchie officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Columbus Grove where a rosary service will be held 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
