   COLUMBUS GROVE - Norman P. Miller, 80, of Columbus Grove died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 1:10 p.m at Lima Memorial Hospital.

   He was born March 4, 1934 in Lima to the late Howard and Gladys (Williams) Miller.  On June 22, 1957, he married Sandra Jenkins who survives in Columbus Grove.

   Also surviving are his children: Cheryl Miller of Stratham, NH, Susan (Nick) Schroeder of Columbus Grove, Lisa Metzger of Anchorage, AK, and Tom Miller of Columbus Grove; two sisters-in-law: Frankie (Frank) Stirn and Pat Miller; and four grandchildren: Sara (Doug) Boecker, Kyle (Sara) Schroeder, Zoey Miller, and Quincy Miller.

   He was preceded in death by a brother: George Miller.

   Norman retired from Continental Plastics, Lima.  He attended Columbus Grove Christian Church.  He was a Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict, a life member of the Columbus Grove VFW Post #9648, and a 1952 graduate of Vaughnsville High School.

   Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Columbus Grove with Pastor Geoff Eubank officiating.  A Military Service by the Columbus Grove VFW and American Legion will follow after the funeral. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at a later date.

   Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program or Columbus Grove Christian Church.
